This is Calgary’s largest park and one of the largest urban parks found in Canada. It covers over 11 square kilometers, it’s natural grass land that seems to go for ever. The park offers outstanding views of the Rocky Mountains to the west and city views to the south east. Several trails throughout the park include informative nature signs. For dog lovers there is a large off leash area. Dress warm, the wind can really blow on top of Nose Hill. Nearby communities include Brentwood, Dalhousie, North Haven, Edgemont, Macewan, Sandstone, Beddington, Thorncliffe, Charlewood and Collingwood.
