Day Use Area
This section of Fish Creek Provincial Park is located between the communities of Lake Sundance and the Bow river. There are several beautiful picnic sites with fire pits and covered shelters. You’ll also find a boat launch (Bow River), good fishing, numerous nature trails and bike paths. All the wildlife the Bow river valley can offer may be found here. Like most places in Fish Creek Provincial Park it is easy to forget you’re in a city with a population over 1.2 million people. This is also where Lake Sikome is located. Nearby communities include Lake Sundance, Lake Midnapore, Cranston, Lake Chaparral, Deer Run, McKenzie Lake, Mountain Park and Legacy Ridge.
