Founded in 1948 as Mathieson's Photo Services, the business has served the Calgary area for over 75 years, with lead photographer Harry Mah bringing more than 50 years of experience. The team, including Natalie and Stephanie, handles all photography and retouching in-house. The studio specializes in headshots and corporate photography, including individual portraits, group shots, and sessions for professionals in accounting, legal, real estate, finance, actors, models, and authors. Portrait sessions start at $125 per person. They also provide on-site architecture and interiors photography for real estate, landscapes, environmental, industrial, and site work across Calgary and surrounding areas. Family and graduation portraits are available in-studio or on-location, with weekend appointments by request; family sessions start at $239 and graduations at $125. Passport, visa, and ID photos meet Canadian and international standards for countries including the US, Germany, Japan, India, Australia, Russia, China, and the UK, plus Permanent Residence Cards, Citizenship documents, and Firearms/Security Licenses. Drop-ins are welcome weekdays from 9AM to 5PM, no appointment needed. Additional services cover on-location event photography for occasions like Bar Mitzvahs, graduations, and Christmas parties, along with custom framing. The studio supports downtown Calgary businesses and travels throughout the city for teams, buildings, and events.
