Most mistakes in drawing happen in lights and shadows, This is where they stop.Light, Shadow and Value Structures in Figure DrawingThis full-day workshop will focus on understanding light, shadow, and value structures in figure drawing using charcoal on watercolor paper. Working with a live nude model, participants will explore how to organize the figure through clear value relationships and a strong separation of light and shadow.Throughout the day, we will look at how to simplify complex lighting, identify the main value families, and use value structure to create a stronger sense of form, volume, and depth.The workshop will include mini lectures, demos, practical exercises, and a longer drawing session at the end focused on applying these ideas in practice.
