Landscape Painting Techniques: Mastering Composition

This workshop is for you!Take your landscape painting technique to the next level by mastering composition with this unique workshop!In this workshop, we will explore the core principles that make landscapes compelling and visually powerful:Creating clear focal points and visual hierarchyDesigning strong value patterns for structure and unitySimplifying complex scenes without losing impactGuiding the viewer’s eye through intentional compositionUsing edges, contrast, and shapes to strengthen designUnderstanding balance, rhythm, and visual movementWe will complete several small compositional studies to practice these ideas, followed by a start of a more developed painting where you will apply the principles in a clear, structured way.This workshop is for artists of all levels and no prior experience is required. You can use either acrylic, oil (no solvents) or watercolour paint.
