About This Event
Use creative play to explore what's alive in you, create connection, find clarity, and settle the nerves. Zero skills required! Are you looking for fun, joy and a little bit of play? Or are you feeling stuck, disconnected, and like you're holding more than you can put into words? All of you is welcome here.Come give this last class for the summer a try! I'll be moving more online after the summer months and I want to share one final discounted class with you ๐ This 90-minute workshop uses simple art prompts and creative play to help you process emotions, reconnect with yourself, and find clarity... without needing to say a thing. No art experience needed. No "good" art required. Just curiosity, play, and a willingness to see what shows up.What we'll do:We'll start with an "ugly art" warm-up to loosen up and get out of your head. Then we'll move into breathwork and drawing from inner sensation. The main practice is a body outline exercise. You'll trace your body on large paper and fill it in with colors, shapes, and textures that reflect how you're actually feeling right now.At the end, you'll learn how to read your own abstract art and understanding what the colors, lines, and shapes are telling you. Most people have no idea how to do this, and it opens up a whole new way of seeing your inner world. You'll leave with:A tangible piece of art that reflects your inner state (yours to keep if you wish)A simple tool you can use anytime emotions feel too big for wordsA clearer sense of what you're actually feelingPermission to create without judgmentThis isn't therapy. It's creative play with space for whatever wants to surface. Come as you are. What's included:All materials, Tea, Gentle guidance from Andrea, a practicing artist and facilitator with years of experience teaching emotional integration through artWhat past participants have said:"Even in a short 30-minute class, Andrea gracefully led us through exercises that helped me connect my hands to my breath and emotion. It was a fun opportunity to play with color and lines without judgment.""I found joy in the process and learned that I wasn't so worried about the end result โ which being a graphic designer, I typically am!""Andrea turned art into something fun with depth. This was a great way for me to take some of the personal development tools and inner work that I've done and express it outwardly."Details:Date: Sunday, June 28, 2026Time: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AMLocation: Bowness Community AssociationCost: usually $45 (with materials + tea included).
