Established by owner Dario Berloni in 1992 or 1993, the restaurant has served the Calgary area for over 30 years as part of the Teatro Restaurant Group, which includes other local spots like Vendome in Sunnyside, Cucina, and E.A.T.. Berloni, alongside Kerry Greene and COO/Director of Culinary Matthew Batey, manages the private limited company. The menu focuses on contemporary Mediterranean cuisine rooted in Italian tradition, with ingredients sourced from local and organic Alberta producers where possible.
