Tennis courts in Calgary

For tennis, start with whether you want casual public play or a reserved court for a group or activity. Calgary's official court information identifies locations and shared uses. Check the court designation and operator before assuming every set of lines supports the same game.

Check the court designation

The City court pages identify locations adapted for tennis and pickleball and distinguish pickleball-only courts. Read those markers before choosing a site. The booking page also explains that courts outside its City-maintained list can be maintained by community associations. For those locations, use the relevant association contact instead of assuming City conditions apply.

Casual play and bookings are separate routes

The City describes recreational public use of its tennis courts without a booking, alongside paid reservations for eligible uses. That does not mean a court is always available on arrival: check current notices and booking information. If arranging instruction, a league or a community event, describe that use to the booking team rather than relying on casual-play access.
