Specify the details that meet other components
Request exact siding and trim products, the elevations covered and the planned treatment around openings. Ask who handles fixtures, vents or other attachments that must be removed and reinstated. Clarify what happens at roof edges and adjacent eavestroughs so those connections do not fall between trades. Include removal, disposal, property protection and finish repairs in the scope. Product warranties and installation warranties should be supplied separately, with an identified contact for a later workmanship concern.
