Tattoo parlours in Calgary
A small new tattoo, a cover-up and a larger multi-session design need different consultations. Start with placement, approximate scale and the kind of work you want. Ask an artist for relevant healed examples rather than treating a studio's mixed portfolio as one person's work.
Use the comparison checklistCheck artist and design fit
Find out who would carry out the work and ask how they approach your requested style or cover-up. Explain whether the reference is a mood guide or a design you want discussed. Ask how placement and scale are assessed, and how changes between consultation and appointment are handled. A studio should make clear which artist owns the booking.
Ask the operator about the process
Alberta personal-services standards include tattooing, and the AHS inspection portal offers public premises records where available. Ask the operator about its equipment, single-use supplies and cleaning process; technical or suitability concerns belong with the responsible practitioner. Request the studio's written preparation, follow-up and concern-reporting information without treating a directory guide as instructions for performing or caring for a tattoo.
