Curling in Calgary: find a club and a place to start
You don't need to pick a season-long league before you've found out whether you enjoy curling. Start by looking for beginner instruction, then ask what happens after the first session: can you return on your own, or do you need a team?

Before you book
Ask whether instruction is included, what footwear and equipment you need, and whether you register as an individual or a team. If access needs affect your visit, speak to the club about getting onto the ice and using the building rather than relying on a general facilities description.
