Caterers in Calgary
Catering can mean boxed meals delivered to a door or a staffed dinner with rentals and cleanup. Define the event before requesting menus: guest count, venue, serving window and dietary requirements all affect what a caterer can realistically propose.
Use the comparison checklistBuild a service brief
Tell the caterer whether guests will eat seated, standing or at different times. Ask who supplies dishes, serving equipment and any kitchen access. A buffet may need different space and staffing from plated service. Confirm responsibility for setup, leftovers and cleanup before assuming those tasks are included.
Make dietary questions specific
Give the caterer a clear list of dietary requirements and ask how ingredients, substitutions and serving arrangements will be documented. CFIA provides public food-allergy information; the actual preparation questions must go to the caterer. AHS inspection records offer a separate way to check an identified food premises. They do not establish that a particular menu is suitable for a guest.
