What the field class changes

The City groups ball diamonds into B through E classes. Its booking guide distinguishes athletic-park diamonds from economy diamonds in parks and on school properties. B-class diamonds include bases; C-class diamonds do not. D- and E-class users are responsible for lines and bases. These are practical differences for a team arriving ready to play.
