Chinook School of Music provides private and group music lessons for all ages and skill levels in Calgary, Alberta. Lessons are available in-person at two locations, online, or in students' homes, serving communities across the city including South Macleod Trail and NW Calgary. The South location is at 3916 Macleod Trail South, 4th level (T2G 2C5), with administrative hours from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday, and 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Sunday (September to June). The North location at 1101 48 Ave NW (T2K 0J6) operates Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Private instruction covers piano, guitar, voice, violin, cello, flute, ukulele, drums, saxophone, clarinet, trumpet, tuba, composition, music production, and theory, across all styles and genres. Group programs include ukulele classes, kids' violin classes, adult and children's guitar classes, Junior Rock Band (ages 10-12), Teen Rock Band (12+), singing classes, summer day camps, Musical Theatre for kids (singing, characterization, movement), Piano and Song Club for private students, Adult Musicians group, and Chamber Music for intermediate/advanced players. Additional offerings feature the Performance Enhancement Program for recital preparation, music books, guitar and ukulele rentals, accessories, and instructor switches. Award-winning instructors focus on nurturing abilities, performance skills, collaboration, and tailored programs for kids, adults, beginners, and advanced students.
