Council meets regularly to make decisions on city budgets, zoning, infrastructure, transit, and community programs. Residents can attend council meetings, submit comments online, or contact their ward councillor directly.

Ward boundaries were last updated following the 2021 ward boundary review conducted by an independent commission, reflecting Calgary's population growth in newer communities.
