Stanley Park is one of Calgary’s best. It’s centrally located in SW Calgary on the bank of the Elbow River. The park offers an outdoor swimming pool, picnic areas, fire pits, flower beds, playgrounds, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, sports fields, toboggan hill and canoing raft access to the Elbow river. Stanley Park Lawn Bowling Club is also located here and is open to the general public. Nearby communities include Stanley Park, Parkhill, Elbow Park, Elboya, Rideu and Roxboro.
