West Shannon Terrace is part of West Fish Creek Provincial Park. Located in SW Calgary bordering the community of Woodbine to the north and Fish Creek to the south. Wow, this area of the park has a real mountain feel to it. Lot’s of large Spruce and Fir trees with beautiful hiking trails throughout. This section of Fish Creek Provincial Park offers several picnic sites with fire pits, BBQ stands, bike trails, creek side park benches, nature center and several points of interest. Like most places located within the Provincial park, nature thrives. It’s easy to forget you’re in a large city while exploring Westshannon. Nearby communities include Woodbine, Woodlands and Evergreen.
