Calgary Community Centres & Hall Rentals
Residents in Calgary communities have access to a Community Centre. Community Centres are the heart of the local Community Association and are used for local programs, meetings, events, entertaining and special occasions. Community halls are mostly run by volunteers with a few larger halls having full time staff. Several halls offer complete kitchens, catering services, gyms, childcare and outdoor sporting venues. The Lower Mount Royal Community Centre has rooms available for rent to community members. Mount Royal depends a great deal on the revenues generated from hall rentals for the operation of the entire facility.
