Bowmont natural environment park borders the NW communities of Silver Springs and Varsity. This park offers several nature trails, pathways, points of interest and off leash area for dogs. The park follows the Bow river with a pedestrian bridge crossing over to the community of Bowness. This is one of Calgary’s largest natural environment parks encompassing 165 hectors of land. A significant portion of the park is still in it’s natural state. Nearby communities include Scenic Acres, Silver Springs, Varsity, Bowness, Montgomery, Dalhousie and Ranchlands.
