Calgary offers a large variety of sports clubs for all ages with a wide range of general interest clubs for children and adults. Several of these organisations are city wide while others are administered at a local community level. All of the local community sports, excluding general interest clubs may require a community association membership. Club Information – The Calgary Bicycle Track League (CBTL) is based at the Glenmore Velodrome, located in Glenmore Athletic Park, 5300, 19 Street SW. The facilities are located in the neighborhood of Altadore, close to Mount Royal University, Currie Barracks, Marda Loop, Garrison Woods and North Glenmore Park next to Stu Peppard arena.

Club Information – Annual Re-cycle and Bicycle Exchange Event. All families are encouraged to donate to the school any bikes or parts that they have out-grown and have the opportunity to get another bike for the upcoming summer that will fit better. We are accepting all bikes from tricycles to adult bikes. Bike drop off will be accepted.

We are always welcoming anyone interested in joining a competitive team in the Masters categories. We also have many cyclists in all age groups who just come out to cycle for fitness. Club Information – The Elbow Valley Cycle Club (EVCC) was formed in 1983 to promote the enjoyment of on and off road cycling in the Calgary area and to advocate and protect cyclists’ rights and access to these facilities. The club does not participate in any races but is strictly a bicycle touring club. The EVCC is a not-for-profit organization run by volunteers. Our membership of approximately 650 members resides mainly in Calgary and area but also extends to other provinces and the United States.
