Calgary offers a large variety of sports clubs for all ages with a wide range of general interest clubs for children and adults. Several of these organisations are city wide while others are administered at a local community level. All of the local community sports, excluding general interest clubs may require a community association membership. Check with the individual sports clubs for their registration, membership and general information.

The Club has a number of tennis programs in the Fall, Winter and Spring sessions. For youth, there are several levels: Early starters (4-7 years), Futures (10 & under), 11 and over, Jr B (some tournament play), Foundation U11 (3 times a week), Competition U14 (6-7 hours per week), Performance U18 (7 hours per week), Elite (Juniors who can play during the day, 11 hours per week). For adults there are several adult leagues, including men’s doubles, ladies doubles, and mixed doubles.

Throughout the outdoor tennis season, the calendar at Elbow Park Tennis Club is filled with lessons, clinics, tournaments, and events that allow Members to meet and network. The courts are maintained and watered regularly, offering the optimal clay court feel.

Meet Up tennis is for tennis players that are interested in getting together to play indoor and outdoor tennis. Our events take place throughout the city’s courts and all levels are welcome.

Oakridge Racquet Club courts are beside Oakridge Community Centre and offer 6 outdoor tennis courts, with dual marking for pickleball and tennis. There is also one squash court in the community centre. We offer After School Programs for ages 6-12 and an evening kids program along with summer camps all summer long. Oakridge is proud to have received an award (BTC) for the Community of the Year for promoting kids tennis.

Our focus is on having fun. All members of the Rosedale Tennis Club must purchase a Rosedale Community Association membership. Annual Rosedale Community Memberships can be purchased through the Tennis Club along with the annual tennis membership.
The Building Tennis Communities (BTC) program is a large part of Tennis Alberta’s commitment to introducing people to the sport of tennis and to keep them playing the game for life, facilitating growth and sustainability. Tennis Alberta is a not-for-profit organization existing to encourage tennis participation and provide competitive opportunities for players of all levels.
