Calgary offers a large variety of sports clubs for all ages with a wide range of general interest clubs for children and adults. Several of these organisations are city wide while others are administered at a local community level. All of the local community sports, excluding general interest clubs may require a community association membership. Check with the individual sports clubs for their registration, membership and general information.

City of Calgary Leagues Slow Pitch

City of Calgary Co-ed Adult Slo-Pitch League: Step up to the plate! Join a fun, recreational, semi competitive Slo-Pitch team this spring and summer. Gain skills, get outdoors and meet new people. Have one person register and represent the entire team.



CMSL Media Slow Pitch

Club Information – The Media League has seen it’s share of Broadcast, Communication, Paper and Production companies entering teams over the years. Past teams have included Global Calgary, CJAY92, CFCN, KIK FM, CBC, Pyramid Productions, Tag Advertising, Calgary Sun, Shayden Entertainment and Country 105 to name a few.



Nose Creek Softball

Club Information – We are part of the Calgary Minor Softball Associations District 7-Nose Creek. This is a very large district taking in approximately 30 communities north of the Bow River from Deerfoot Trail West and 14th Street East. A list of city wide communities included in our district can be found on our web site. We became an official association June of 2006 and we consist of a six member association including President, Secretary, Treasurer and 3 Directors. All of our bylaws, association rules and meetings are open to the membership. This is a total non-profit society run entirely by dedicated volunteers.


West Hill Softball

Club Information – We are part of the Calgary Minor Softball Associations District 7- West Hill Softball dedicated to providing organized spring softball for youth ages 5-19. Our district serves 40 communities west of the Elbow River and South of the Bow River. We formed in 2008 and have been growing annually. This is a total non-profit society run entirely by dedicated volunteers. See our website for additional information.


Little League District 8 Softball

Calgary, AB

Club Information – Alberta District 8 is the non-profit organization for all Little League Programs for the south side of Calgary. District 8 boundaries also span west to Bragg Creek and south to Okotoks and includes their surrounding communities. We provide the co-ordination of baseball and softball programs for children ages of 5 to 18.



YYC Fastpitch Development

An alternative softball program is coming to Calgary, starting Spring 2019. We are looking for girls ages 7-18 to join our softball community. You will improve skills, have fun, and build social connections…all in a low pressure environment. All skills and abilities welcomed.



West Side Slow Pitch

Calgary, AB

Club Information – Westside is a Recreational Co-od Mixed Slo Pitch League. We are classified as a C & D division league. We have been in existance since 1996. Our league currently consists of 18 teams. We have an A Division, 8 Teams and a B Division, 10 Teams. The teams are mixed 7 and 3. Westside ump their own games except for Playoffs. We play double headers each week with a couple of triple headers throughout the season. All teams make the playoffs.
