Calgary offers a large variety of sports clubs for all ages with a wide range of general interest clubs for children and adults. Several of these organisations are city wide while others are administered at a local community level. All of the local community sports, excluding general interest clubs may require a community association membership. Check with the individual sports clubs for their registration, membership and general information.

Bow Ridge Little League Baseball

Bow Ridge is a well-established Little League Baseball program offering baseball to boys and girls ages 5 to 18. Our quality program caters to all levels of players from first time to advanced skill. All Star programs are also offered following the completion of the regular season. The communities we serve include: Bowness, Crestmont, Greenwood Village, Lynx Ridge, Montgomery, Scenic Acres, Silver Springs, Tanglewood, Tuscany, St. Andrew’s Heights, Valley Ridge, Varsity, University Height.

 

Calgary Babe Ruth Baseball Association of Calgary

Babe Ruth Calgary is the city’s premier baseball program for players 15-18 years of age. In the Spring League, the 20 + year-old association operates an integrated five-club system with both AA and AAA divisions; teams are the Angels, Dodgers, Giants, Indians, and Rockies. Games are usually Tuesday to Thursday evenings at 7pm, and weekends from 10 am – 7 pm. All games are played either at Optimist Park (AAA) or Glenmore Park (AA). Communities city wide.

 

Calgary North West Little League Baseball Association

North West Little League (NWLL) is a not for profit, grassroots organization that is run entirely by volunteers. Our philosophy is to teach players the basics of baseball in a fun, safe environment. Along with improving their skills, an emphasis is placed on teaching them the respect of the game, other players, coaches and umpires as well as other life skills. We offer player divisions for all experience levels for players from 5 to 16 years of age. We service the Calgary North West community and the surrounding area.

Little League District 8 Hardball

Club Information – Alberta District 8 is the non-profit organization for all Little League Programs for the south side of Calgary. District 8 boundaries also span west to Bragg Creek and south to Okotoks and includes their surrounding communities. We provide the co-ordination of baseball and softball programs for children ages of 5 to 18. Calgary south.

 

Rocky Mountain Little League

Club Information- Offers every possible Little League baseball program to its player-members at an “all-in” cost that we believe is an exceptional value. In addition to uniforms, equipment and facility-rentals, your registration includes team & individual pictures, trophies, tournament fees, and subsidies for out-of-town tournaments. We offer certified clinics for our coaches, umpires, and even have a scorekeeping clinic, all at no cost to the participants who will use their talents and knowledge within our organization. Programs are available for players aged 5 – 18 years. Umpire opportunities also available. Communities: South Calgary.

 

 

Westvalley Fastball

Westvalley Fastball is a volunteer based community program. The program is designed to provide both male and female athletes, aged 5 to 19, with the necessary training, skills and playing opportunities to have fun and achieve personal success while learning and playing the sport of fast pitch softball. Communities: Edgemont, Glengarry Estates, Hamptons, Hawkwood, Ranchlands, Citadel, Arbour Lake, Rocky Ridge, Dalhousie, Brentwood, and Royal Oak.
