Calgary Sports & Clubs
Calgary offers a large variety of sports clubs for all ages with a wide range of general interest clubs for children and adults. Several of these organisations are city wide while others are administered at a local community level. All of the local community sports, excluding general interest clubs may require a community association membership. Priori Epée Fencing Club2225 Macleod Trail South
Fencing is good for people of all ages and especially for children and young adults by teaching good sportsmanship and self-discipline. Priori Epée Fencing Club started in April 2006 under the leadership of provost Denis Fournier, who has been developing the sport of fencing in Alberta for over 30 years and coaching athletes (fencers and pentathletes) from recreational to international competitive level. We are committed to develop the full potential of each athlete, taking into account their personal objectives and abilities.

Club Information - The Calgary Fencing Club is the city’s oldest fencing club celebrating 50 YEARS of coaching and classes as of 2014! We have maintained our own facility (the first of its kind in Calgary) since 1992. The club is currently located at the new Vecova building (formerly the VRRI building). This large facility allows the CFC to provide a wide array of programs and special events for fencers of all ages and experience.
