Silverado Community Association94 Silverado Plains Manor S.W.
A Community Association membership is a great way to support your community. They are inexpensive and voluntary. A valid membership is usually required to participate in recreational, social and educational programs from soccer to girl guides, karate to yoga, stampede breakfasts to senior programs, movie nights and much more! Several Calgary recreation centres will also provide a discount for community association membership holders.
Volunteers are the heart and soul of our community. There are over 20,000 volunteers in the Calgary community association network, making it the largest volunteer movement in the city! Without volunteers we wouldn't be able to do the things we do. Volunteers are needed for programs, fund raising casinos, community association tasks, family events, community events, sports and much more. Please contact the association directly if you are interested in volunteering.

The SRA is mandated by law to oversee the care and maintenance of specific common areas within the community. This responsibility, an alternate form of taxation, has been passed on to us by the City of Calgary to ensure the care and maintenance of the private parks and pathway systems in the community. At full development, the SRA will own 43 acres of land. Fees are $140 (incl GST) per year for single family dwellings or $116.25 (incl GST) per year for multifamily dwellings.
