Volunteering

Volunteers are the heart and soul of our community. There are over 20,000 volunteers in the Calgary community association network, making it the largest volunteer movement in the city! Without volunteers we wouldn't be able to do the things we do. Volunteers are needed for programs, fund raising casinos, community association tasks, family events, community events, sports and much more. Please contact the association directly if you are interested in volunteering.

The Lake Bonavista Homeowners Association Ltd. is a non-profit organization run by a volunteer Board of Directors, who manage the operation and maintenance of the Lake and Park through the Park Superintendent. Access to the park and office is at the southeast corner of Lake Bonavista Promenade Mall parking lot, and during the summer, access is also available directly from Acadia Drive. The operation of the park is funded by an Annual Fee due June 30th, levied on each residential property in Lake Bonavista. Photo identification cards are issued to each person in the household that meet the member requirements. The identification cards are validated each year upon payment of the annual fee. Access to the park will not be granted without your photo identification card.
