Who Wants To Have Some Fun?

Calgary Tobogganing

Downhill toboggans in Calgary parks are only allowed on the designated toboggan hills shown on the map below. Although there are several other toboggan locations, it's a good idea to stick to these designated locations. For your family's safety, the City of Calgary has carefully chosen these toboggan hills that are generally free of obstacles along with smooth safe run outs.

Tobogganing is a great way to get the kids out of the house. I can't think of a better outdoor family winter activity that is this much fun. I'm sure every Canadian adult can remember a day of tobogganing and eagerly await the day when they can take their own children out for some winter fun. I wonder if those who live where it doesn't snow, wish they could try a toboggan ride? Well, we can. So...who wants to have some real fun?

Today's toboggans offer an incredible variety of styles that will provide loads of fun for your kids. There is no need to spend the family budget on a toboggan. As it's always been, the cheapest toboggans seem to be the best.

Tobogganing in Calgary on a warm Chinook day can be a unforgettable experience and well worth the effort. It's also one of the few winter activities that does not cost a lot of money. If you're going to toboggan in a city park, it's probably best to leave your dog at home. Funny how dogs seem to hate this activity.

Make sure you and your children wear a helmet, and are well dressed for a winter day. Dressing properly for the cold can make or break your outing.
